Yum!

Cooking Class (1)

Down in Sarasota, Samir's parents own a lovely Italian Deli called Casa Italia. Aside from having monthly Italian cooking classes, they also have the occassional Indian cooking class. I was lucky enough to participate (meaning: eat the food) at this month's class.

Matthew Paul

My cousin Andrew and his wife had a baby! This is Matthew - he's just over six months old, absolutely adorable, and, boy, does he love to play.

Pink Flowers

Again, more coloring experiments. Not sure how they're going, but it's a learning process, right?

Thanks for the lovely comments on the previous photo!

Friends

Gnome and Little Guy
The photo editing made this look a bit grainy. Alas. I guess it works, it has more of a rustic feel now.

Bike

Bike
Every now and then I like to go back to film cameras. This picture was taken with a fantastic Russian SLR from the 60's/70's that I got off ebay for an extremely cheap price (read: less than $20). I have to manually cut the film before inserting it, which is slightly worrisome, but it usually comes out alright. The most recent roll I put in doesn't seem to work, though, which scares me. Because, really, where do you go to get an old manual Russian camera fixed?

Vintage Books

DSC_0109
I took this picture for a recent post on my blog in regards to books. That's right, I had a bit of a modeling session with some vintage books I've found in used book stores. They were lovely participants - very easy to work with and not once did they complain.

(Note: The bottom two are old special edition prints of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. I think, in total, I have seven different versions of those stories - I love collecting them.)
